Filed under: Downloads , FPS , Multiplayer With Battlefield Bad Company 2 now out, many PC games have been wondering what in the wide, wide, world of sports has happened to the development of the PC port of Battlefield 1943 . The PC port of the console downloadable WWII themed multiplayer shooter from developer Digital Illusions has suffered through a a couple of delays since it was announced (the Xbox 360 and PS3 ports were released back in June 2009 and were huge sales hits for EA).

Tonight, it was revealed, as previously announced, that the Xbox 360 version of the hit first person shooter would get first crack at the first downloadable map pack. A teaser site for the DLC (with the image to the right; don’t ask) states the Xbox 360 release date for the pack will be March 30
