Filed under: FPS , Multiplayer , Left 4 Dead Series There’s going to be something kind of big coming up in the next Left 4 Dead 2 mini-expansion The Passing, due out in the near future. GameTrailers TV revealed the info earlier this morning about the Valve created expansion where the Left 4 Dead 2 cast meets up with the four folks from the original zombie co-op shooter. It’s so major, in fact, that we feel that we need a BIG SPOILER ALERT so as to not ruin things for people who want to play the expansion cold.

This week Valve released an update to the game that includes new weapons and items that were submitted by Team Fortress fans.

Filed under: Downloads , FPS , Multiplayer With Battlefield Bad Company 2 now out, many PC games have been wondering what in the wide, wide, world of sports has happened to the development of the PC port of Battlefield 1943 . The PC port of the console downloadable WWII themed multiplayer shooter from developer Digital Illusions has suffered through a a couple of delays since it was announced (the Xbox 360 and PS3 ports were released back in June 2009 and were huge sales hits for EA).

Filed under: FPS , Multiplayer It’s been a few months since we have heard anything new about Tactical Intervention , the upcoming Source Engine-based mulitplayer shooter from Minh “Gooseman” Le, the creator of the original Counter-Strike mod. Today word got out that Mayn Interactive will be handling the game’s publishing and the game will be released via the Mayngames.com web portal sometime this summer
